HOD Pacific Northwest Region: Taking the Program to the Next Level

There is a lot of information in this message, so we’ve condensed it with bullets – but if you have time, please read the comments and explanations too. We have a LOT going on!

We have a GREAT season planned for you in 2016. The Season starts March 13th at ORP on the dry side of the Cascades and ends October 11th at The Ridge this year. With a mix of two day and one day events on the weekdays and weekends we will have a date you can make for some real driving fun!

  • We’re going to have a great year of driving for the HOD Track Family.
    • We have four Thursdays at Portland International Raceway
    • We’ll at Oregon Raceway Park for six days. Offering both one and two day events, and running both directions during the year.
    • We will be at The Ridge for eight days offering two and one day events there.
    • As always you can purchase a single day or multiple days at our events.

Tech Tip:
Don’t store your UHP and R Compound Tires in a place that gets below freezing while weighted. Get em off the car. The Polymers that hold the tread compound together are designed to operate at higher temperatures than all season tires and can freeze below their operating temperature range (minimum of about 35 F depending on the tire compound). The tire can actually crack if stressed while the polymers are frozen. If they do freeze take them inside and let them warm up above 50Deg F for a day of so before you put any load on them.
