Hello Car Show Supporters,
This email is sent with heartfelt expectation that you are navigating the challenges of this year in good health and with hope.
You have partnered with us, some for all five years of our Kirkland Explorers Benefit Car Show. Due to your involvement of time, resources, generous sponsorship, and those beautiful vehicles, we have been able to raise support for our Explorer post that has allowed them full participation in regional competitions where their learned skills are showcased and honed and provided needed equipment, such as rain gear. A large part of the Explorer experience is community volunteering and often the weather does not cooperate. These opportunities and skills go with these young people and impact them for the rest of their lives. Thank you!
As you may suspect, we will not be holding our 2020, 6 th annual benefit car show this year. The City has mandated that all public events be canceled through the end of 2020. We want to keep you and the public safe. We have been considering the idea of a virtual car show, just for fun and to showcase your beautiful cars. If you would like to participate, please email me a photo of your car along with a brief description no later than August 31, 2020. We will put it together and release so you can see it on the day that our car show was to have been, September 12, 2020.
