First of all, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for registering for this years event. Though not everyone could make it, we still appreciated the support and had a great turn out for our first event!!! Through the raffles and donations we were able to raise almost $2500 for Seattle Children’s Hospital!!
As some of you may already be aware, Kruise 4 Kids is already moving forward for next August. Even with this year going as well as it did, we are trying to improve on a few things. Here is a bit of a run down of what has happened or is being discussed:
1. K4K 2014 is scheduled for August 3rd, 2014 at Griot’s Garage again, the end point of the cruise will be XXX Root Beer Drive-In in Issaquah (about a 45 minute cruise).
2. There will be more detailed directions included in the goody bags and we will be leaving griots from the rear exit. Breaking the large group into smaller groups may be the best way to keep everyone together.
3. Kruise 4 Kids now has it’s own site (http://www.kruise4kids.com) with a support forum for event planning, suggestions and questions. Feel free to join the forum. We’d love your help! 🙂
