The Parksville/Qualicum Shrine Club
in partnership with
The Nanaimo and District Shrine Club
are pleased to announce their undertaking of the management of the
Show and Shine Car Show on the Beach in Parksville B.C. to be held
Sunday August 03, 2014. To uphold tradition there will also be the
Cruise Night to be held Saturday night August 02, 2014 starting from the
A&W – Parksville B.C.
This show will now become known as the
The Van Isle Shriners Show and Shine
This year will be the 1st Annual but is celebrating
25 years of Show and Shine Car Show Events in Parksville B.C.

Update to the upcoming Van Isle Shriners Show and Shine ( formerly the Oceanside Overdrive ) in Parksville BC on August 3, 2014. The traditional cruise will be held on Saturday night August 2, 2014 leaving from the A&W in Parksville, gathering that night at 5:00 PM.
We have over 22 Trophy categories, Vendors, Pancake Breakfast, Hamburger/Hotdog concession. All net proceeds are going to the Shrine Transportation fund to help in transporting the Shrine Patients from the province of BC to the Shrine Hospitals. Enjoy the 50/60’s music all day long, 50/50 draws and marvelous Vancouver Island weather. Loading the cars in starts at 7:00 AM and Judging starts at 11:00 AM, Trophy presentations start at 1:00 PM. Come and be one of the first to get a Dash Plate celebrating 25 Years of Show and Shines in Parksville.
T Shirts and Posters to be sold on site to help recognize this 1st Van Isle Annual Shriners Show and Shine. Come and see what to expect next year and for many years to come.

Make sure to pre book accommodation and BC Ferries as this is the August long weekend.
Saturday is the Show and Shine in Coombs BC and then on Monday is the Show and Shine in Comox BC, make a complete weekend out of your travels. Stay in Parksville and travel to the other venues and back within 45 minutes.
