"I purchased the 2006 Redfire Metallic Convertible, the only color I liked when the new models came out. Let’s back up a step to why I bought this car. It was summer of 2004 and the next generation models were just starting to be advertised. I worked for the Port of Seattle on the Seaport and was told to expect all the new Ford models on the pier because Ford was making commercials around Seattle and they needed a place to store, clean and maintain them during the day where most people couldn’t see. I had a good look at that 2005 Mustang and talked to the driver and a couple of marketing people. No I didn’t take a ride, but I was sold right there. This is my 5th Mustang: two 68 Convertibles, one 67 Fastback (restored), and one 68 GT Highland Green Fastback." -Bob |
