The Daffodil Festival Grand Floral Parade is an annual celebration of the community, history, traditions, and growth, of its home of Pierce County.  The theme for this year’s parade is “Daffodil Paradise.”

Traveling through the four cities of Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner, and Orting, the Parade consists of over 180 entries, including floats, bands, marching, and mounted units. Linking one generation to another in tradition, floats are decorated with thousands of fresh-cut daffodils, just like the daffodil flowers that grew in the Puyallup Valley since over 80 years ago.

Our club participates in the parade each year with two entries. Coupes, for the most part, are entered together as a motorized group. The other entry consists of 12-14 convertibles that carry the Educators of the Year, which are chosen by each princess.

If you are interested in driving your Mustang in this year’s parade, please contact Heidi Geise if you drive a coupe or Missy Willert if you drive a convertible. Please let us know how many of the legs you are available to participate in (Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner and/or Orting).

More specific details will be communicated as we get closer to the parade.
